In this session hosted on April 9th, we talked a lot about how “collaborating with your ESL teacher” isn’t always a clear process. We sat down with two wonderful ESL teachers for an honest, guided conversation about what collaboration really looks like day to day. We made the invisible work visible, shared real examples, and talked through practical ways to work together that feel doable and respectful of everyone’s time.

Hosted on March 12th, this webinar introduced the UpRiver idea of “+1 moves” — those small, intentional shifts that make a real difference for multilingual learners without asking teachers to do more. We focused on how to build language support into what you’re already doing, instead of reinventing lessons or adding one more thing to your plate.
